Mini Biography


Shauna de Long has been a Visiting Assistant Professor at Kenyon College, Gambier, OH (see faculty profile) since Fall, 2022.  She earned her Ph.D. in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Kent State University specializing in Cognitive Psychology (2022). She is interested in adult language learning during reading and is currently investigating morphological effects on orthographic and semantic word learning.

She earned a Master of the Arts in Education and Human Development from the University of Colorado Denver (2017), and a Master of the Arts in Cognitive Psychology with a minor in Quantitative Methods from Kent State University (2019).
